River Landing Wedding Flowers

Just a few pictures from Saturday's wedding ~
My first experience with the River Landing just off of I-40 exit 384 ~ The rustic setting of the River Lodge is nestled at the very back of the property on the river amidst trees and nature's bounty.
I delivered the arrangements to the venue and was not privvy to the finished event.
The bride wanted accents of hot pink and purple mixed with airy greens in a hydrangea base.
With a few hot pink gerber daisies and greens, the taller candle sticks became very pretty accent pieces that added some height to the area.
The black glass vases were to be placed on the tables that overlooked the river. They had white daises, hot pink roses, queen anne's lace and greens.
The bridal bouquet had ivory roses, mini carns, status and green hydrangea. I wanted to stay and see the finished affect ~ however, the wedding party was at the hotel and I had to deliver the corsages, boutonnieres and bouquets for the pre-wedding portrait session!

Wedding Weekend

Two wonderful wedding experiences this weekend!
Joy and Scott's guests arrived for their wedding on beautiful Oak Island and were greeted with gift bags that had a truffle duo of original dark chocolate ganache and a delightful key lime white chocolate ganache!

At the wedding reception ~ chocolate starfish and sandollars awaited the guests as a perfect "Thank You" favor!

Riverfront Gardening

I would love for y'all to drop by A PROPER GARDEN on the river downtown Wilmington (of course you can go online too www.apropergarden.com) and visit Peg and her delightful English Garden shop! It is across the brick path from Elijahs restaurant. Each time I visit I find a treasure! She has a wealth of knowledge about "old Wilmington" and her cheerful smile and delightful wit will make you want to browse for hours. Enjoy a sunny riverwalk, have lunch and buy a gurgle pot!!

Welcome

Welcome to my chocolate garden where all things chocolate and flowers are blooming!

It is finally March ~ Spring will be here and I am looking forward to warmer days and the promise of beach weather :)
All things coastal are on the horizon especially weddings and festivals.
Chocolates and flowers are a perfect pair and most desirable at all gala events!

My chocolate seashells and surfboards are making their "favorable" appearance as brides-to-be are planning destination weddings.

These precious gems of the sea are lovely accompaniments. You can customize your chocolates with pearl colors and personalized hang-tags!

Let's talk about how you can have them at your special event!
Visit www.sosweetchocolates.com for all the details.

A pic here from a wedding `The couple also had SSC's chocolate starfish, sand dollars and lighthouses tied with coordinating ribbons and a lovely remembrance tag to thank their guests and remind of them of their sweet day!

Let me help you plan your perfect event with all the delicious and beautifully hand-crafted details ~ Let's talk about your ideas!

Until then...Entertain the Idea of Chocolate and Flowers!!!
